the ranch

I think these pictures getting re baptized by my best friend and her love represent my summer perfectly.
my flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26

It was an amazing season that I am really thankful for the opportunity to have done.
The best part was getting to spend a summer with my sweet sister.

Our winner is.....
CAW
Yay girl! Excited for you.
Please email me your address and I will send you your little prize!!

Thanks for all of the kind words, they really uplift me.
Promise to do more give aways and wish I could give all of you sweet thangs prizes.
There are now little ring bowls at all of my stores.
$90 a piece and they need homes!

Speaking of CRC stores, I sure do love the Mulberry girls.

I leave you guys today with this devotion for June 17th out of Jesus Calling.

"Learn to laugh at yourself more freely. Don't take yourself or your circumstances so seriously. Relax and know that I am God with you. When you desire My will above all else, life becomes much less threatening. Stop trying to monitor My responsibilities - things that are beyond your control. Find freedom by accepting the boundaries of your domain.

Laughter lightens your load and lifts your heart into heavenly places. Your laughter rises to heaven and blends with angelic melodies of praise. Just as parents delight in the laughter of their children, so I delight in hearing My children laugh. I rejoice when you trust Me enough to enjoy your life lightheartedly.

Do not miss the Joy of My Presence by carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Rather, take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. My yoke is comfortable and pleasant; my burden is light and easily borne."

Really glad our Lord has a sense of humor!! Aren't you? I love this little devotional book. Seriously I look forward to reading the encouraging words each morning. Definitely recommend you trying Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.

who me?

tibi spring 2011 runway
hippity hoppity we are so close to being able to wear white I can feel it!!

A very good friend of mine sent this devotional to me yesterday and I wanted to share it with you guys.

“I AM THE POTTER; you are My clay. I designed you before the foundation of the world. I arrange the events of each day to form you into this preconceived pattern. My everlasting Love is at work in every event of your life. On some days your will and Mine flow smoothly together. You tend to feel in control of your life when our wills are in harmony. On other days you feel as if you are swimming upstream, against the current of My purposes. When that happens, stop and seek My face. The opposition you feel may be from Me, or it may be from the evil one. Talk with me about what you are experiencing. Let My Spirit guide you through treacherous waters. As you move through the turbulent stream with Me, let circumstances mold you into the one I desire you to be. Say YES to your Potter as you go through this day.”
devotional for April 7th in Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young

I hope you needed this as much as I did!!
With Easter Sunday right around the corner we need to stop thinking about all the white in our closets (me) and remember that this is God's only son dying for our sins. His love is so great and so true.

I love that I get to be a potter. Every time I sit down at the wheel with a ball of clay in my hand, I think of my Lord molding me and it brings so much comfort.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Outback

I am so excited to share about my weekend and how God absolutely MOVED at Outback University! It was so amazing to witness our Lord's grace and mercy rock 250 and college students from 20 different universities.

The Holy Spirit was all over the Pilot's Grands Plantation. Bruce, who started the JH Ranch, spoke about not being so called "Christians", but about having real relationships with the Lord and becoming Godly people. God so jealously loves us that he yearns for us to come to him. The great thing is that He isn't looking for perfect people! He is looking for you to seek him today, as you are, and say "Father, I can't do this on my own. I need your help." His grace does the rest!! He is such a sweet Lord and touched hearts of SO many this weekend! I am overwhelmed with excitement to see where all of these new little mustard seeds of Faith will grow and who they will touch. (Including an amazing group of DKE boys from University of Alabama that were so full of the Holy Spirit!!)

This past summer my Daddy and I spent a week out at the Ranch and it completely transformed my life. I can not thank the Lord enough for all the blessings he has bestowed upon my family and me since I have let him back into my heart. There is no telling where or what I would be doing! I am now, hopefully, going to be working out there for part of this summer and am so pumped! I would love to answer any questions anyone out there has about the Ranch or Jesus.

Then, after the weekend I came home to check my email and Oh My Goodness!! Thank ya'll for all of the sweet comments and new followers! Really lets me know that this is where God wants me, being a little potter in Alabama. :) I am going to pick the winner randomly out of a hat on Wednesday. Can't wait to share this piece with one of you.

Blessings to all and XO always,
