a barrel of awesomeness

W and I are throwing a little party this weekend.

A little Backyard Bash.

We went to Home Depot yesterday to get like a trash can or something and I stumbled upon this beauty...

Half of a whiskey barrel that is supposed to be a large planter.

Not in my eyes friends!

After some major talking into and "using your imagination" W caved and said lets try it.

$30.00 guys, $30.00

We brought it back, nailed a round piece of glass on top and we have a barrel of awesomeness.

It is heavy and rustic and a perfect table for the back patio.

You could also flip it over and use the bottom as your table top if you don't want to go through the trouble of getting a piece of glass.

I am so excited for this little find, it looks straight out of Restoration Hadware.
